ESPN Analyst Names Team To Watch Out For Down The Stretch

first_imgDavid Pollack discusses College Football Playoff.Last night, the first College Football Playoff rankings of the season were unveiled. While the focus was on the top four and those immediately behind them, some teams lurking just beyond still have a shot at the playoff. One of those teams is Ohio State. The Buckeyes’ lone loss was an ugly one at Purdue, but they still essentially control their own destiny. If Ohio State wins out–beating Michigan and Michigan State in the process–and wins the Big Ten title game, they will be 12-1 and almost guaranteed to make the playoff.During last night’s playoff show on ESPN, David Pollack cautioned viewers to keep an eye on the Buckeyes.“Ohio State to me has some things to fix, but they have the talent to me to be a team that could rise up and beat Michigan,” Pollack said. “They have plenty of opportunities. They’ve been there before. This is a team, with their talent level, that should be there at the end of the season.”Interestingly, while Pollack is touting Ohio State’s playoff chances, he wrote them off for the national championship two weeks ago when news broke that star defensive end Nick Bosa would miss the rest of the season.I thought Ohio State cld possibly win a National Championship with Bosa, without I don’t see it happening.
