West Ham make approach for QPR man

first_imgWest Ham have enquired about a possible deal for Queens Park Rangers goalkeeper Rob Green.Hammers boss Slaven Bilic is searching for an experienced shot-stopper to provide cover for first-choice Adrian following the departure of Jussi Jaaskelainen.The club are now looking into the possibilitiy of re-signing Green, who spent six years at Upton Park before moving to Rangers in 2012. The England international featured in QPR’s defeat at Charlton on Saturday and boss Chris Ramsey wants to hold on to the 35-year-old.However, Rangers are looking to move on high earners following relegation and Green – on more than £50,000 per week – falls into that category.And, with one year left on his contract at Loftus Road, the Hoops could be tempted into doing a deal with West Ham.
